Help for Pregnancy Comfort & Positioning

Dr Jessica adjusting pregnant patients stomachPregnancy brings incredible changes, but it can also bring back pain, hip discomfort, pelvic pressure and other aches that make everyday movement harder. At Tagliarini Chiropractic, our doctors use the Webster Technique to gently address pelvic alignment and the surrounding muscles and ligaments as your body changes throughout pregnancy.

If you’ve found out your baby is breech, transverse, or anything but the optimal head-down vertex position, that can bring up a lot of worry, and that’s completely understandable. Please know you’re not alone. Webster care can help create more space for your baby to move comfortably while also addressing the physical changes that may be contributing to your own discomfort.

We’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless expecting moms, helping create more space for their babies to move comfortably into position. Our success rate reflects that experience. When your baby turns naturally, you’re more likely to avoid unnecessary interventions and experience the birth you’ve been hoping for.

How the Webster Technique Works

Developed over 50 years ago by Dr. Larry Webster, this technique is rooted in a simple idea: your baby needs room to move. Breech positioning is often related to limited space in the uterus, and because the uterus rests within your pelvis, even small misalignments there can make things feel a little tighter than they should.

Our doctors carefully realign your pelvis, tailbone, and the surrounding muscles and ligaments, creating a more open, comfortable environment for your baby. In most cases, this allows your little one to settle naturally into a head-down position. Every adjustment is soft, safe, and done on specialized pregnancy pillows and a custom table designed with your comfort in mind.

Comfort & Support Throughout Pregnancy

Webster Technique care offers a gentle way to help you stay more comfortable as your pregnancy progresses. Your growing baby, added weight, and shifting posture can place extra strain on your lower back, hips, and pelvis.

Realigning the pelvis and tailbone and easing tension in the surrounding muscles and ligaments can help relieve that discomfort, whether or not your baby’s position is a concern.

What to Expect During Care

Most moms experience results within just one to ten visits, depending on how soon care begins and how your body responds. We will be with you every step of the way, taking time to explain things clearly so you always feel supported and never alone in the process. And if your baby doesn’t turn through Webster care alone, this technique can still meaningfully improve your chances of a successful an external cephalic version (ECV), should you and your OB-GYN choose that path together.
